• Touch Screen Thermostat upgrade TR8100
  
  These are a different looking thermostat that doesn't require batteries.
  3 core & Earth cable required

• Additional Zone Valve 
  
  This is only needed when connecting to a combi boiler or if you have a Y plan system.

• Wireless Room Thermostat
  
  This is needed when your room is finished and have not put a cable in.

• Auto Bypass
  
  A bypass is required on every system whether it is 1 radiator with no TRV or a auto bypass. When separating any heating system you need an auto bypass this might already be on your heating system if you have a hot water cylinider & radiators. 

• Underfloor Heating Wireless System
  
  This is for a Multi Zone application only. Using wireless dial thermostats for 2 or more zones, this saves the electrician running wires from each thermostat. 

• Underfloor Heating Electronic Mixing valve
  
  With any standard mixing manifold the water temperature is controlled by mixing flow water (High Temperature) with return water (Low Temperature) this is done by slowing or stopping the flow water this means that the water leaving the boiler would have nowhere to go and shut off by using the boiler thermostat.
  
  
  The boiler would keep turning on every few minutes even if your underfloor heating doesn't require it. With the Electronic Mixing Valve when the water temperature is satisfied it sends a signal back to the boiler to turn it off until it requires heat. This saves you the customer money.

Underfloor Heating Additions for Different Floor Constructions

• Double aluminium Plates
  
  These are used instead of 25mm of Screed, to transfer the heat into the room. (25mm of Screed adds approxmiately 25kg per square meter).

• Nail clips
  
  Nail clips are used when fixing to a timber floor. When fixing to a concrete floor (with insulation underneath) you need nail clips & plugs so you can drill a hole put the plug in and fix your pipe with the nail clip.

Inhibitors & Antifreeze

• Antifreeze Sentinel X500
  
  Antifreeze is only needed when the underfloor heating pipes are subject to freezing e.g if your heating was laid in a concrete floor in a new house when the heating hasn't been turned on or no heat in the house through the winter.
