(150mm centres)
Joists at 400mm Centres
When installing underfloor heating into a timber floor at 150mm centres pipework is usally laid at 3 runs in 1 joist and 2 runs in the next (if joist are at 400mm centres). Notch the end of the joists about 100mm from wall then every joist will need to be notched at different ends dependent on where the pipe needs to cross into next joist see Drawing below (Maximum loop length of 120m). For Timber floors a different fixing method will be required Please CONTACT US to order (a larger pack will be needed as more pipe will be required with different fixings) or See MULTI ZONE for written quote.
