Underfloor Heating Fitting

Bathroom underfloor heating is often something that doesn’t get thought about when designing a new bathroom but in fact is one of the most important factors in being able to enjoy your new bathroom fully.

Ever stepped out of the bath and felt the cold chill of the bathroom tiles? The solution is bathroom underfloor heating. Some people opt for a heated towel rail to warm the smallest room in the house, but the floor will remain cold.

We recently dealt with Mr. Thompson from Chesterfield who was in the process of designing a sparkly new bathroom and was looking for a retro fit underfloor heating solution other than a conventional towel rail.

Along with a local plumber we specified one of our bathroom underfloor heating packs using low profile Profix panels (15mm).

The panels were fixed, and underfloor heating pipe was laid. The whole floor was then screeded with a bagged flexible floor leveling compound ready to have tiles laid once the screed was fully dried out.

Underfloor Heating Fitting

This bathroom underfloor heating system provides the following benefits:

• Warm water underfloor heating as opposed to electrical systems.
• Can be tagged onto the end of a current radiator system.
• Economical to run.
• Thermostatically controlled- pump will only turn on when heat is supplied.
• Low profile system.

Mr Thompson now enjoys the benefits of a warm floor in his lovely
new bathroom.
