Installing your underfloor heating in a ground floor

When installing underfloor heating into a full house or ground floor your manifold should ideally be located in a central position so that your pipework doesn’t run through rooms it is not going to be heating.

You will have instructions showing pipe lengths & pipe centre’s for each room some rooms may have more than 1 loop per room dependent on the size (Maximum loop length of 120m).

Each room will be controlled with a thermostat smaller rooms maybe controlled with another room for example KITCHEN & UTILITY, HALL & WC. 3 or 4 runs of fixing rail should be laid dependent on the length of room and clip every 1m-1.5m.
